Their incredible lives are re-visited through drama and song.  Most importantly, these grand divas were a vital part of the Golden Era of Gospel Music from 1945 to 1960. Their outstanding contributions can not be ignored, for they laid down a solid foundation for today’s singers.

“THE GREAT DIVAS OF GOSPEL,” is a MUST-SEE show that should be on Broadway! It’s a glorious celebration of traditional Gospel Music that you’ll find yourself singing along with. It’s educational! The impressive cast includes Lady Peachena, the show’s playwright, who gives a stunning portrayal of Mahalia Jackson, plus Betty Cooks, Debbie Sargeant, Nadine Simmons, & Carol Hawthorne.  Since the cast is celebrating their 16th year anniversary,  they’ve decided to add a special segment to the show where they’ll honor some living legends. So the special guest for the March 4th show will be Dr. Joyce Taylor. The honoree for the March 11th Show will be Evangelist Gloria White of Bridgeport, CT.  The March 18th Show will spotlight Evang.
